How to put music from computer on to anderoid lg optimous?

Soo I plugged the usb cord into my computer and my phone..and I reaally didnt know what to do after that.. Aha..explain it as simple as possible.
 
usually when you connect your android your computer you access your phone and click usb then folders will open up and you can create a music folder and drag music into that
