How to replace lid/door magnet of LG top loading washing machine myself?

I have an LG toploading washing machine: WF T7012EN (Fabricare, Turbodrum)

I need to replace the lid magnet myself. I have the magnet but don't know how to go about it. Can it be stuck with feviquick? Any help would be most appreciated.
