How to reset security password on an Nokia 5300?

I bought an nokia 5300 from someone off of craigslist. And i tried to do an master reset, and the person changed the password on there, and i can't get in touch with the person i bought it from, and i was wondering if there is anyway i can get reset it?
 
i have forgotten my security password in my nokia 5300 phone.. how can i retrieve back my password and how can i reset it? thank you
