Mme And My Mom Have The Same Blackberry 9780 With The Same Plan But For Some Reason Hers Work A lot Better Than Mines Like When I Go On Youtube On Her Phone It Works Fine Where Every We Go. But When I Go On Youtube On Mines It Will Buffer Every 5 Seconds Even With Full Bars Or When I am Right Next To My High Speed Wifi Router How Can I Reprogram The OS

I Had Done This Before On A Blackberry 8900 Than It Was Working Great

OK. Here goes and don't come crying to me if your phone completely bricks and is unusable after you try this.

You need to download two programs to your PC.

Blackberry Swiss Army knife
and
Blackberry Desktop Manager

You can get BBDM from Blackberry's website AND it came on a disk with your phone in most cases. You need to use version 6.0. Don't try this with BBDM version 5 or lower.

You can get BBSAK by searching on Yahoo or Google and downloading it.

Run BBSAK. Connect the phone. Select "connect to phone" and then select "wipe device"

In a few minutes you will have a Blackberry with ABSOLUTELY NO OPERATING SOFTWARE. So don't say I didn't warn you...

Next run BBDM software and connect the blank device. BBDM will recognize that the OS needs to be updated and will go to blackberry's website, find the software and will reinstall the software on the device.

Oh, and by the way, if you don't use BBDM to back up your contacts, pictures, and other stuff before hand, you will lose all of that.
