I am using internet through a modem named Echo life HG520S which has total 4port. I am using one port and other 3 port I am sharing with my friends.but the problem is one of my friend refusing to pay the bill.so i want to block him from using net but without disconnecting cable.same time i want to allow rest of two friends to access internet.
I want when he click on internet explorer, modem router window should open asking for user name and password. is it possible to do that?
If not then is there any way to set a password to access my modem?

You need to get access to the PC and allocate a static IP, you can then block that IP on your modem. This will only work until your friend realises wht's happened and re-allocates a dynamic IP address. Or you could try setting the PC you want to allow access static IPs and allowing only those addresses through your modem. Reading other topics on the web it seems that the password option is also possible for which the details will should be in the manual.
You can also Google for more ideas.
