How to return my Leased truck for a smaller car ?

My Leased truck payment is $400 on 48 month term,now i cant afford my payment and i wanna get something smaller for $100 maximum payment.I read the lease agreement it says i can bring the leased truck back whenever i want but i am kinda worried there might be a fee which its doesnt say on that paper.
Please advise me on how to this properly without paying lots of dollars,any personal stories or advises will be helpful.
