How to root Samsung Captivate that has stock Froyo 2.2?

So I got the Samsung Captivate (AT&T) last week and I've noticed it's kind of laggy...and I want to get rid of the Att bloatware. So I thought I should root it..but I'm not sure how. (This is my first android/smartphone) But all the links I've found are old and they show how to upgrade TO froyo 2.2 but I already have that...

So how can I root my phone? The build number is Froyo.UCKB2
