how to speed up dial up internet

ok my internet is just loading to slow i tried disk clean up disk defragment every thing you can about name it i have tried but the problem is nonthing to do with my computer its to do with the dail up internet it says my modem runs 56k how do i speed it up how do i speed the internet up at all i need some info from someone who has done it already please any info would be nice thanks ahead of time
 
To increase internet speed
* Check to see if faster internet connections are in your area:
Fiber optic and cable internet tend to be faster than DSL and dial-Up.
* Reset Your Internet connection
Sometimes switching OFF and ON your device helps you to speed the internet.
* Do not use long wires between the dial up source and your computer..try to keep it as short it can be
After you have tried some of this,try your connection again using Scanmyspeed.com and see if it's running any faster. If you are not satisfied Call your Internet service provider (ISP) and check whether upgradation of your plan is necessary.
