How to start my book off, Thanks?

Im 16 and had bottom grades in my english, but i want to learn to be a good writer, so im writing a little book called "Naughty Nick", He is going to be around 11 years old and keeps playing naughty tricks on his friends and family, but how can i start the opening line up?,
Please answer and thanks in advanced

Read some similar stuff like Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
Or add some humor to the happenings in your daily life.
