How to START talking to a pisces guy?

Im a virgo girl, and he is a pisces. The only thing we have ever said to each other has been "hey" and i asked him how his sister was because i know her. I only get to see him at the gym and im really attracted to him. How do i get a pisces guy to talk to me? He seems really shy but so am i :/
 
Not saying this to put you off but my friend is a male Pisces and he was engaged to a girl Virgo, they ended up with a VERY bad breakup, she left 2 days before their wedding after the invitations were already sent. She couldn't handle his disappearing acts, him always needing his "alone" time, his isolation. In the end, they just wanted two different people to be with. She is now dating a Capricorn and are very happy together and he is single - and also happy.
