How to style hair with two or four chopsticks and two curved bars?

I have a nice set of hairsticks, four, with these bars that are two inches long, flat on one side and curved on the other. Is that supposed to help tuck in the ends?
Anyway, myhair has finally grown long enough to use them after manyyears, so help is appreciated. PS this is for a wedding at 5 pjm today EST.
