How to take pride in being bisexual?

I'm starting a new school and I'm bisexual. I'll be a freshmen in an East Coast school and I'm really nervous to announce I'm bisexual. I come from California and I don't know how Easterners will react, if they'll react differently.

I'm bisexual and I'm in love with the most amazing girl ever.

I just want to know how I can take pride and be open about my sexuality in this school and how to face the problems that will come with it.

Please answer?

Be you, that is all you need to do! It took me a lot longer to admit who I was and I too came from california when I was 12, now 32 so there were many differences in culture on the East/south coast versus now. Be cool and don't let others supposed reactions stop you from being who you are!

Where on the east coast? That changes things a lot. I'm an east-coaster and I've never had trouble with it, but I've always told people only if they ask, it comes up, or if we're close.

By admitting it, PROUDLY, with your head held high and NEVER let ANYBODY make you feel it's something to be ashamed of!!

GAY & PROUD
GAY PRIDE!! :@)

just do you. be who you are and be proud of that. i am from california as well lol.but where ever you go just say you are bisexual and say it proud. f**** everyone else and what they think. do whatever makes you happy, and be with whomever you want to be with. just have that: "im bisexual and i have the hottest girlfriend ever and shes so amazing." though in your head at all times. youll learn to take pride in who oyu are no matter what.
