I was employed in a role where the manager was a bit weird. He took a shine to me and made my life hell. I worked there for almost a year and although my sales were top for months, when I rejected his advances to me he stopped authorizing my sales…. Therefore my sales fell and I was let go…. The day I signed for my first home. Stuff he did? -Valentines day he sent 7 roses to my boyfriends house, addressed to me with a card that read “a rose for every day I think about you”… -I had to put my family dog down and was a bit upset about it in work. The day after we put him down, I came into work, opened my emails and had an email from him with a picture of my dog that he edited to look like my dogs neck had been knifed open and blood gushing from his it…. -He also accessed my pictures on my networking site (even though he was not a friend) and took pictures of my nieces and edited them to have them smoking joints and looking stoned……. And said some horrible things about the skirt one was wearing…… they were 2 and 4 years old at the time. I started working there a few months before Christmas and he was not from around and would be on his own at Christmas so I extended an invite to him to come to my parents home for dinner. This was before he went weird. He arrived drunk, tried to pull me into a room and kiss on me then vomited at the dinner table… I stayed so long because I was working towards buying my first home. I had to have a job and had to have good bank statements with money going in every week. How do you talk about this when been interviewed for a new job? I don’t want to come across as an employee that attracts problems??? But don’t want them to think I was fired because I was bad at my job. I was excellent at that job. Help!
