My fiancee and I have been together almost 3 years, we met in college. We live together and plan to get married in a few months. I work 5-6 days a week depending on my per diem job. On the weekends we spend all our time together. His job lets him leave after me and he returns home before me. So I have no time to myself when I get home. But on Sunday we go out to breakfast, walk the dogs, go fishing, anything he wants to do. BUT on Sunday evenings I also want time to myself just half of a day. We travel all over USA because of our jobs and we sometimes go places where we don't have anybody we know. I understand he wants to spend time with me, but when I go to watch a movie or spend time with myself he gets mad. I have talked to him several times about just giving each other a break one day a week and letting each other do whatever we want. I usually want to watch a movie by myself or chat with my friends online. Last weekend I had to lock myself in my room to get a little bit of alone time, which I know was mean but I JUST NEEDED TO BE LEFT ALONE SOMETIMES!!! Which he did get mad. What to do? I am distressed and dont want to fight nor argue! He's a great guy, he walks the dogs before I get home from work, does the laundry, cooks at least 3-4 times a week. It makes me feel guilty for some alone time.
