how to thank my boyfriend for a wonderful vacation?

I'm posting a message on facebook to my bf to tell him i appreciate the time he spent with me during our vacation and how much fun we had.. is this ok to write on his page "Thanks for such a wonderful and memorable vacation. You’re such a sweetheart!" I kind of want it to be cheesy cause he always makes fun of me of being a cheeseball.

Why do you feel that you have to live your life in public on facebook?

Wouldn't a sweet card with a heartfelt thank-you message, sent directly to your boyfriend, be more memorable and personal?
