I have just bought iPhone 5 locked to AT&T with 1.00.16 baseband (modem firmware) and running iOS 6.0.1.

Does ultrasn0w or Gevey SIM can unlock it?

I am not sure about those unlocks. I suggest you can approach Theunlockspot.com and specify the country,locked network of iPhone 5.Based on the availability you can get the permanent unlock service along with free instructions.
