how would unlock the lg shine phone from rogers?
would u have to tell them that ur going t be unlocking it?

No You no need to tell to service provider that you are going to Unlock it...You can unlock it simply using the Unlock code.....You can get the Unlock code from here Ihav.net
and Unlock it from network lock...........
