How to unlock my sons Samsung c3050?

I am not looking to unlock it for other networks. My son somehow managed to lock the phone and it is asking for a password, we have never changed the password, so is there a default password. I'm guessing we will need a puk code as well?? again this is something we have never changed either. Thanks all help appreciated.

A PUK code is needed to unlock the phone, i'd recommend you phone up the network provider and ask them about the PUK code. They will probably ask for the SIM number found on the SIM card.
