How to Use My Handheld Predator call?

i bought a primos still cottontail predator call and im not to sure on how to use it. i've used it twice and i c managed to call up was a wild cat. i kno there are lots of coyotes, bobcats, and foxes on my hunting property because i see plenty while deer hunting. does anyone have any tips or suggestions to help me become a better predator caller?
 
Like geobert said start loud and get quieter not too quiet but you know. Do it loud about 10-15 secs at first then work you volume down. For coyotes I would stay in one spot for a while and then walk around quietly if I saw nothing sitting down in a stand or on the ground.
