I am a 15 year old young man who is in training to become a minister of the gospel and I have been asked to speak at a 3 day event for the general baptist convention in southeast Georgia on the youth night. The heads of the program has decided that it is important that an introduction of speaker be done before I speak, The problem is that they want another young person to do it versus someone who knows me and I have to write an introduction to give them. Could anyone give me an outline on how to write one? it doesn't have to be long I just want a paragraph.

This is only an Example cause I don't know you or what you have done.

"Brothers and Sisters I have been asked to introduce our next speaker, I don't know him personally but I have heard many good things about him and after meeting him I believe they are true.

He comes to us from Ten Buck two where he is a member in good standing with the Ten Buck two Baptist church. He has been a member there for 5 years and under the direction of the Pastor "SoandSo" is in training to be a minister of our Lord Jesus Christ.

He will speak to us tonight about "Jesus and ????" as the spirit of God leads him, now I would like to introduce Brother Bill Williams."

You of course should give a little more about your self, how you received your calling and when you became a Christian....then depending on what the subject is, get away from yourself, and keep yourself out of the presentation...such as ", I, I, I, I. put as much Jesus and scripture into it as possible, do not make statements as facts without naming the proof.

I Started out Southern Baptist and was preaching by the time I was 14, (I have been independent for many years now) and over the years I have learned one very important thing K.I.S.S. that is KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID, You will start losing peoples attention after the first 15 minutes, I try to never go over 25 at tops, and believe it or not I have stopped right in the middle of a sentence when the Holy Spirit said "That's enough".
