Is there still hostility,? will the world cup unite the Europeans and Africans in South Africa like the 1995 world cup rugby?

except for immigrants, we're all african. All South African born white people, English and Afrikaans are just as South African as the Zulu, Xhosa, Sotho, Tswana, Venda, Pedi, Tsonga, Ndebele and Swatis. although there might be racial differences here and there, both white and black accept each other. I am Afrikaans and one of my best friends is a Zulu. So despite our differences, we get along great.

Mingling is now more class- & interests-based, just like most other countries.

Like all countries, you will never have people who agree on everything.

We don't mingle much. That's mostly because of the cultural differences. Because let's be honest, we are not the same. But that doesn't mean we are enemies. Most people get along well.
