How well do newsgroups work with Clearwire?

I know, from experience, that Clearwire throttles most p2p downloads such as torrents. But do they throttle newsgroup downloads? And if so how much and how often? Also, if they do throttle this kind of traffic, do you think using a newsgroup service with a web based UI (ex. http://www.newsreader.com/faq.htm ) would get around the throttling? Just trying to figure out whether or not I should even bother paying for newsgroup service or not. TIA for any help.
