I usually travel with my friend who knows Boston better, but I'm bringing another friend this time.
I know you take the red line, but which stop is best to get off at?
Downtown Crossing or Park Street?
And if I get off at Park Street, I don't like the Green line much, so how would I walk to Faneuil from there? Thanks!

take the red line all th way to park street (you can actually take it to down town crossing it doesn't matter because they are so close). you then take the green line one stop to government center (from either park street or downtown crossing.. downtown crossing has an underground walkway that connects to park street and the green line and you don't have to pay again). If you don't want to take the green like one stop then get off at park street and walk up tremont street in the direction going away from boston commons/the movie theater, ect. it's prob a 5min walk you will see a CVS and a big building with a whole bunch of stairs going down on the opposite side of the street.. cross over and go down all those stairs and across the street there is faneuil hall and quincy market. if you get off at downtown crossing.. follow milk street until you get to faneuil hall/quincy market area.
