My dad bought chardonnay and the bottle broke in the trunk of our car, it's one of the larger wine bottles. Could I just rinse it off and let it dry? I'm wondering about how chardonnay odor reacts with the summer heat (100F).
Oops, guess I didn't elaborate much. One bottle of chardonnay broke and the entire bottle spilt in the trunk of our car. We took out the mat in our trunk (the car is a toyota coupe) and just rinsed it off, wiping up whatever the mat didn't absorb. We cleaned up where the spare tire is, too.
