How would you react if someone spread rumors about you?

I know this person who keeps spreading rumors about me, and she happens to be my ex's sister. I dont know what she says, but people come to me saying that she said some thing about me. The problem is that I don't want anybody believing all these lies and looking at me in a different light. She could've told lots of people. It also makes me worry bout what people think or say. How would you guys react to something like this?
 
I have this issue all the time. It bothers the hell out of me too. Say s*** back to those people and be like "so not true, why cant the b**** say it to my face" or confront her. Dont let her say sh** about you shes just being a hater and should drink some hatorade.
 
In the nicest way possible?

I'd confront her and warn her off.

If that didn't work?

I'd smack her in the mush. She wouldn't be spreading them clearly, she'd have no teeth!

i would get really pissed....and just tell her that she has no life because she apparently is spreading rumors about her sister's ex when its none of her fucking business.
 
Find the person who started it and calmly ask her if and why she did it.
 
look i get this all the time. you have got to make a scene and show her who is boss. make ppl respect you then they have not reason to belevie anything. this is how you get ur status. trust me. you have to seem angry though and throw f boms all over the place. then just casually walk away and sit down with ur friends. trust me
 
I don't let people get to me that easily because people who are like that I look down on them as nothing and whoever believes them can think what the want. live your life forget the haters
