Howdo I take off a snap on clear case off my cell phone?

I don't want to mess up my phone nor do i want to break off the clear case over it either. Its an upstage phone and i can't take off the clear case on it. I recently spilled alittle milk on it and now looks ugly cuz its stuck in there in between the phone andcase. any help thanks
