Just wondering what people think. I know not much has been revealed about the LG Ally and the HTC Incredible has been released already. Personally I think HTC makes some of the best smart phones around but LG makes great phones also. What do you guys think?
I've worked for one of the cellular giants for 5 years. I just got my HTC Incredible a few days ago. I'm extremely picky about phones. So far its been excellent. If you want a comparable phone to the iPhone its really the way to go. However, you are very correct in that LG makes excellent phones.
Judging by this commercial on phandroid.com (http://phandroid.com/2010/04/30/lg-ally-commercial-leaks-not-the-phone-we-thought-it-was/) seeing the top bar on the screen it will more than likely be a cdma device. I know that sounds a little ridiculous but when you've seen as many cell phones as I have you can tell by certain icons what carrier it is.
Being that they both run android the only question you have to ask yourself is if you want the physical keyboard or not. If you play a lot of games on your phone go with the LG, just because its easier to game with a physical keyboard, if not give the Incredible a try. They both have android 2.1 so your not really gaining or losing much, and both will be identical as far as the operating system and feel of the phone. But the Incredible does have the HTC sense UI. The Ally is similar to the enV3 believe it or not so go to a verizon store and play around with them for a bit. Thats why they have the display models available. But i'm still sticking with the Incredible.
