...were born that way.? the last thing on a baby's mind is who they are attracted to, and even as a small child feelings of attraction are not present. children are more focussed on self and food, then later on friendship when they decide to come out of their own worlds. even then there's the belief that children of the opposite sex have "cooties". during adolescence is when sexuality starts to DEVELOP. it's something that is both learned and influenced by environment and society, so no one is really born straight either. no sexuality is really the norm. and the gay gene? that's hard to swallow. neither of my parents are homo. and if homosexuality is truly hereditary then we all should be gay because there are gay people in all of our families. if i have offended anyone i apologize in advace. i just want to be educated on how other people feel.
