...it for metro pcs? My friend is paying me to bid on a telus cell phone (a canadian company, and I want to know if it will still work, in the us that phone is only with metro and i thought that It would still work if activated.
I see that they are both supported on CDMA so I think that should make them work and I looked at both companies and they seem similiar and I will call metro later today.
 
CDMA phones don't use sim cards, and cannot be unlocked. CDMA phones have to be flashed to another provider's software and settings each time you want to change providers, which can possibly brick the phone each time it is flashed, call Metro and if they agree then get the phone flashed and Metro will set it up for you!
