...BUILT BY VOLKSWAGEN IN 1966? I,m a VW Beetle fan and now that gasoline prices have gone higher, I want to build a small but reliable 1300 cc engine. I once had a 1966 VW beetle, that had this engine and I was satisfied with the performance of the small car and engine. Anyone knows where I can get an engine like this or just the heads for this engine? I also have heard that 1300 cc VW engines where built for the last VW beetles built in Mexico, made to export them to Europe. Have you heard of these 1300 fuel injected engines?
