I am looking for a mech hanger for my bike...a mongoose XR 75 ?

I have the Mongoose XR 75 bike...and my old rear derailleur broke..and i am replacing it with a shimano altus..but dont have a mech hanger...
got any ideas of which hanger to get? any info will help...
