airport...any tips? Any tips on the car ride home and introducing her to our home??

Let her go at her own pace. Take her out of the crate in the grass near the pickup area to let her meet you. Don't let her off leash, and let her smell you and go to the restroom.

She'll probably be extremely exhausted, and should be allowed to explore the new house under close supervision.

well i did the same thing 2 yrs ago and this is what i did...i brought a baby blanket For the ride, a pack of wet ones to wipe him off when he came out of the cage due to the fact that he did piddle some in his crate...he came with a leash and collar so i didn't have to bring that and he also came with a toy..i opened the cage and let him smell me and when he was calm he came out and i took it slow with him..he was nervous as i was new to him so i let him do his thing..once he was okay with me he came right up to me and then i took him outside to use the potty..he at this point started playing with me..i think it took about 30 minuets for all this but i didn't want to rush him into my car feeling scared..when i knew he was happy with me i then got into the car and he laid on my lap while my husband drove home..when we got home again i let him take his time learning the house..he sniffed it and all that stuff..i didn't push him in any way..once he settled down off to bed i went as it was 12 midnight when we wet to the Airport as his plane was delayed...it was 3 am when i finally went to bed but it was all worth it as he was settled in as if he lived her from the day he was born...good luck with your new friend..
