About a year and a half ago I had an emergency c section. I had a catheter inserted before which I was not happy about. Anyway, right after they took it out I lost the feeling in my urethra that give me the urge to go. A month later I went into retention for 6 hours. My urethra would not relax. I had to have a catheter to drain. Ever since the c section I cannot tell when I have to go except my bladder will ache. I get painful spasms that radiate down my leg throughout the day. I a convinced the catheter caused this damage as that was the only thing near my urethra. It has been a little over a year and a half. I know for personal injury you have two years to sue. Should I? Would I have a shot at winning? I am so afraid I will have severe bladder problems in the future because of this. I am only 24 years old.
