I burned myself with boiling water.. I think it's serious?

I was making bubble tea, and i didnt have a shaker, so i decided to use a margarita shaker i had on hand, i put the powder mix in, then the boiling water, and shook it with both caps on and it exploded and burned my right hand on my inner pinky and ring finger. it hurts sooo bad i was running it under water for a long tme, like 20 minutes and then i put topical burn gel on it and then wrapped it up in a wet paper towel.. i was thinking of rubbing fresh aloe gel on it.. what do i do? i thnk its serious.. it might be 2nd degree. my mom is out and i dont know what to do. please help!
