Message: <blockquote data-quote="kpaschke" data-source="post: 45418">I'm so sorry that you had to see that.  My eyes are filled with tears right now.  What you should try and so is chase that image out of your head by replacing it with something pleasant.  Every time you think of it, try to think of something else or do something that will occupy your mind.  Maybe in honor of the little dog you could volunteer to work at your local shelter.  They can always use volunteers to walk the dogs and just spend time with them.  In time the image in your mind will become less frequent.
