I can't remember the name or author of a book?

So this is a fantasy book I'm talking about, with vampires and a werewolf that I can remember. The thing that made it memorable was the fact that the vampires in this book (the main protagonist being a girl) were always sickly, and I think that the protagonist even lived with her mother. They end up doing something in between, but they eventually meet up with this werewolf who's the seventh son of a seventh son and who is involved in werewolf fights (similar to dog fighting). I can't even begin to remember the title or author, though, only that the vampires were so different in that they were so lethargic.
