My iPad 4 slipped from my hands yesterday and I soon noticed a minor shatter in the very bottom right corner. My friends said it would take a month to fix. But I'm using it for school and for music and research at home, I don't think I'd be able to go without it for that long. My original plan was to get a new case to cover the cracks so it wouldn't worsen... But now a longer line has appeared that has reached my screen, and I know this could spread even further. I have insurance with the school, but apparently my carer has lost it. Should I send my iPad to get fixed over the course of a month? Or leave it as it is? Or even send it off to the Brighton Apple Store? For a faster, but more expensive repair?
