We'll go into details if you want:

2000: Reg season averages for Kobe: 22.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.9 assists
2000: All-Star, 1st ALL Defensive Team, 2nd ALL NBA Team, led the Lakers in Game 7 of WCF to beat the Blazers with 25 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists, 4 blocks
2000 Finals: Yes, he did shoot poorly. He was injured in one of the games and had to come out early. Game 4 of the 2000 Finals, he led the Lakers in OT to the win with 28 points when Shaq fouled out.

2001 Reg season averages: 28.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, 5.0 assists
2001 Playoff averages: 29.4 points, 7.3 rebounds, 6.1 assists

2002 Reg season averages: 25.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists
2002 Playoff averages: 26.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.6 assists
2002 Finals: Shot over 50% FG

2003 averages: 30 ppg 7 rpg 6 apg 2.2 spg

The only part that is laughable is the 2004 Finals in which Kobe did screw up. I'll give you that. But other then that, don't know what's so funny about 2000-2004 dominance by Kobe.

Appreciate greatness.
His 2000 Finals stats are not good. But his play throughout the playoffs was good. He still averaged over 20 points 4 rebounds and 4 assists throughout the playoffs which is good enough to give him that NBA Champ title in 2000. His leadership in Game 7 of WCF and Game 4 of the Finals, among other games, proved that he was for real and he was CLUTCH.
