...can get the vehicle back? My vehicle was repo about 2 weeks before i filed for a chapter 13 bankruptcy. I owe about 25 grant on the vehicle which is only worth about 13 at a dealer, and i know they will auction it for way less and i will still have to pay more than 15 grant for a vehicle that i dont even have. Is there any chance that they will release the vehicle after i meet with the creditors?
When I called the finance company to let them know that I had filled and I wanted the vehicle they said I would have to fax the plan and proof of insurance, but then some other lady got on the phone and said I would need an attorney in order for them to release the vehicle.
