I know this sounds corny but I like to check out books about different religions, spiritual relaxation techniques, motivational/self-help books, cookbooks, exercise books, and the likes. Having positive energy around me and maintaining balance in my life is very important, so I like to read up on different techniques to not only keep my body healthy, but my mind healthy too. However, it's becoming a stress to go to the library. The librarians always make a fuss about what I'm reading. I checked out a book on Buddhism once and I was told I was going to hell. I checked out a vegan cookbook (I am not strictly vegan because I think meat is essential for the body, but I still cook vegan dishes because they are usually very healthy) and they all laughed at me. And they all call me a hippie despite the fact that I usually go to the library as soon as I get off of work. (which is in an office so it's business-wear). What do I do?
