in Houston in Harris county in TX)? I have recently been through a divorce & a few months ago I got a jury duty notice in the mail. It was addressed in my married name & I had gone back to my maiden name. So I just sent it back & put "no 1 @ this address by that name". I have never had to serve so IDK what to expect. I hope I never have to. Was what I did illegal. They evidently aren't smart enough to figure out I have gone back to my maiden name but I had made the change on my DL recently. I haven't had any cops show up so I guess I am OK but I guess I better not ignore the next one. I do have a mental "ailment". Would that disqualify me in any way?
