I had a dream and I would like some interpretation?

I had a dream about myself was talking to my family members and my mum was buying me stationery things (probably meant education?) then followed with few friends of mine who invited me to go to prom (this was stupid lol) so then I went to look for the dress, it was gold. But other than that, I had a dream about my boyfriend was drinking and talking to me. He was all nice and himself, then, I woke up lol. Can someone help me with interpretation? I'd be very happy :D

Stationary items are tools for communication. So perhaps your mother was giving you the tools for self expression in the dream?

How did you feel about your friends and boyfriend when you saw them? Did they speak? What were they speaking about?

Also what happened between going off with your friends to get a dress and seeing your boyfriend?

The smallest details likely mean a lot.

Also dreams tend to leave you right before some question is answered.
