I had my period jan. 16th and it is now feb 16th and still have not had my period?

I am going to be 25 next month. Im not on any type of medication, Im not under any stress and this has never occured before. I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative. The first day of my last period was the 16th of jan and it is now the 16 of feb. Does anyone have an idea what might be wrong?
