I have 15ml of agar. How much water should I add to fill 10 large petri dishes?

I am doing a science fair about bacteria and I have about 10, 3 and a half inch diameter petri dishes. How much water and agar should I mix together to fill all ten and allow bacteria to grow? Do I need to sterilize my tea pot when I boil it, and if I do...how would I do that with everyday house hold items? Please answer soon :)
