how long do i have his lite on 4? i'm new 2 havin a cornsnake & at the moment he is in a small viverium until i get him is new one, but at the moment as heat source i have a 40 watt bulb & i'm not sure on how long 2 have it on for. please help thanks

I only turn the heat on in my cornsnake cage after a feeding and in the morning for about three hrs a day
