I have a 1991 Buick Park Avenue 3.8L, I need some help there is somthing

wrong with it...? It is smoking real bad and it smells like rich gas, wants to stall out and die everytime you go to stop, And is using up alot of gas...Can anybody help? I realy need to get it fixed Im a Stay At Home Mom.
