...power and shifts too soon.? Check engine light was on and had diagnostic run and it came up: MAF sensor and throttle pos. sensor. I changed these and it stopped the car from dying periodically but now I have great loss in power and trans wants to shift into 2nd by 15mph and 3rd by 25mph and will not go into passing gear ever. I have done a complete tuneup and fuel filter change, trans filter change, spark plugs, wires, air filter. The cruise control shuts off by itself also but resumes when I give it more gas. This car has 180,000 miles on it and otherwise is a great car. Before I changed the sensors, it had plenty of power and shifted fine. I hope someone can please help me. Thanks so much.
