I have a 2000 Mazda MPV minni van that I just bought....?

I took it in for a tune up because it was starting to run rough and had a large amount of exhaust. Well needless to say they said it had a blown head gasket. It will cost 1,600 to fix. But what if the heads is warped or cracked?? How much more will that be, or will it be covered in the 1,600 bucks??
Mark...I bought what I could afford. Thos is the first foreign car I've had

Sorry to say, but you've been had even if the problem is the head gasket. When buying an old car, remember the top three things to consider: condition, condition, condition. Never, never buy an old car without first having a good mechanic check it all over. Hey, don't feel bad, we have all been had. Good luck!
