I went to the post office about an hour eariler came home and took a shower then went to leave for work went out to my car not starting it had one click. The radio wont come on however the lights will and dome will and blower will. The electric locks still work and alarm. What do you think. I had a repair garage come get and look at it, but haven't heard back I was wondering what to expect. He thought maybe a starter. I had a brand new battery last winter put in
If I need a new starter why does some stuff work and the radio doesn't

could be just a bad ground wire off the battery.

Edit: Because the starter and radio work off the ignition circuit, the other stuff doesn't.

Its likely your battery, get a jump start, if it starts replace the battery, clean the terminals and you should be good for another 3-4 years.

First thing is make sure your battery terminals are tight. If they are then you need a new starter. If you click the ignition time after time it might free up. Or if you can find the starter try tapping it with a hammer while someone tries to crank it. (not at the same time) tap it , let them try , tap it..... you get it.
Starters are pretty sturdy so whack it if you can. If you do manage to get it started your still going to need a starter so put a new one in a.s.a.p

its either the starter motor or your battery. Have you tried jump starting it?
