I have a 96 Jeep Cherokee that is overheating and the heater is blowin cold air?

I replaced the tsat and the water pump appears to be fine no play in it and no wetness around it.Also the bottom hose is not getting warm at all and i've ruled out the heater core... any suggestions would be great before i go out spendin alot of money ...u know with the bad economy and all
